Matthew Postlethwaite is an actor, known for Peaky Blinders - Gangs of Birmingham (2013) and The White King (2016).
Became interested in acting following an appearance on a British documentary series with his brother Jeffrey. Often appears alongside his twin brother, Jeffrey Postlethwaite. Remained in character throughout the entire production of Shooting Clerks. Various day players and cameo stars were shocked to discover that he wasn't American when filming wrapped. His nickname, 'Old Soul', refers to a scene from Shooting Clerks in which his character refers to himself as such. The reason it stuck was that due to a bout of group (cast and crew) corpsing during filming, Matt had to repeat the line fifty times.
